Loadmaster Terminator System
Structural composite roof termination details engineered for performance, speed, and long-term durability.
The Loadmaster Terminator System is a complete line of custom-engineered structural composite termination and transition details designed to work seamlessly with the Loadmaster Roof Deck System. Fabricated from G-60 galvanized steel, each component is project-specific and attaches to structural steel framing via welding or screws.
What the Terminator System Does
Every detail in the system is engineered to:
Support gravity loads and resist wind uplift
Serve as shear collectors for diaphragm shear loads
Eliminate steel angles and wood blocking at termination points
Prevent roof covering edge peel caused by hurricane-force winds
Because components function as a completed structural assembly, the finished system significantly outperforms its individual parts.
Detail Types
Edge Detail — Used at roof edges and rakes on sloped construction. Acts as an anchor within the roof deck assembly, providing superior holding strength under extreme stress. Roof coverings attach by screw into built-in flanges,
Wall, Valley & Ridge/Hip Details — Custom-designed per project to handle gravity, uplift, and diaphragm shear loads. All flashings are screw-attached, eliminating wood blocking and the associated risks of nail back-out, curling, buckling, leaks, and blow-offs.
Why Specify the Terminator System?
No added cost — often less expensive than conventional wood blocking
Faster construction — installed by the same crew as the roof deck, accelerating the dry-in stage
Superior long-term performance — engineered durability with no maintenance trade-offs
U.S. Patent No. 6088992
