The Problem -
Conventional Wood Blocking

 The
Terminator is a system
that completely encases the edges of the roof deck with galvanized
sheet steel, providing a base for the attachment of fascias
and gutters, thereby eliminating
the need for wood blocking and, in many cases, the edge angles.
Roof membrane damaging stress that occurs at joints between
the roofing substrate and wood blocking is eliminated. Composite
action between the Terminator and the deck provides the structural
strength required for vertical and shear loads. The
Terminator is specifically designed for each roof deck and is
installed at the same time as the roof deck. This eliminates
multiple trades, separate contractors and coordination problems
typical of conventional mitered wood blocking pieces.

| Assemblies with a
cumulative shear load of 1650 Lbs. or less to be transferred
to the structural support and/or a span length of 12 feet or
less may not need perimeter support angles. U.
